In a weird way, stress can actually be a bit of a teammate. It’s what gives you that burst of energy to meet a deadline or stay alert during a long drive. But even the best sprinters need to sit down and catch their breath. If the race never ends, that’s where the trouble starts.

Anxiety: The Marathon Runner (That Nobody Signed Up For)
Now, let’s talk about anxiety. If stress is a response to a specific threat, anxiety is the internal reaction to that stress. It’s like a marathon runner who just keeps going, even after the finish line has been crossed.
